"1982" was a university proyect in wich i practiced for the first time the production of real-time visuals for the song 1982 by Miss Kittin & The Hacker.
Concepto y Moodboard / Concept
El leimotiv del VJ set ronda entre videos VHS de autos JDM drifteando por montes Japoneses, texturas analógicas y máscaras al estilo onomatopeya de velocidad del manga “Initial D”.
Este mundo conceptual me lo dió el BPM y la rítmica intensa de la canción, ya que en estos videos o edits de los 80´s y 90´s de autos drifteando, se suelen usar canciones de hyperpop, phonk, eurobeat, tecno, etc... que acompañan con la intensidad de los videos.
The leimotiv of the VJ set hovers between VHS videos of JDM cars drifting through Japanese mountains, analog textures and speed onomatopoeia-style masks from the “Initial D”.
I asociated this visual world to this song because of the BPM and the intense rhythm of the song, since in these videos or edits from the 80's and 90's of drifting cars usually play this type of intense/high energy songs.

I devided in nine columns the different moments that were highlighted in the timeline. The variables (the slots in which there is a violet rectangle) are mostly distortion parameters and some video executions automated by keys.
